OYO Gran Canaria Hotel

This was an emergency stopover, and it was great. Still needs a bit more work but it's clean and comfortable and the breakfast is 1st class. We needed an early start so we had all the staff on shift doing our breakfast before the stated time's.

Hotel is right on the sea front. Get a front room for a great view. Hotel clean, cheap and cheeful. We did one overnight stay before heading to France. We explored the area and climbed the white cliffs of Dover ( national trust) had to use a ladder for the bottom bit ( kids loved it) Breakfast consisted of cereal , toast , full english and hot choc for the kids. The owner of the hotel is a lovely man and very helpful. The same morning we went for a swim in the channel. Memorable!

Stayed here to visit the mythical town of Folkestone. The manager was an absolute pleasure, very helpful and extremely friends. The room was very clean and the beds were a delight. Best night sleep i've ever had. Thank you be part of your wonderful hotel!

basic but comfortable room. Clean, towels were very white and fresh. beds pretty hard, was surprised how comfortable they were. The wind was bad so we could hear it through the gaps in the windows and curtains blowing. In the morning the window sill had a big water puddle on it. But overall pretty good stay and was cheaper than the other hotel we usually stay in

I've given this place 5 stars as you cannot fault the hotel owners hospitality or the location in reference to the beach. On our first day we found the shower was clogging so we informed Cesar (the owner) who came straight away to the room to remedy the problem. All 3 rooms that we had were all had beachfront views which were amazing The hosts are absolutely fabulous with young children. My kids absolutely loved their dog Moose. He's such a beautiful dog with such a calm temprement around the kids. They would sit for ages just stroking the husky. Breakfast was great, there's a selection of cereals and yoghurts and you can order a hot breakfast too, all included in the room price too. As I'm sure I've mentioned before Cesar and his wife are great hosts as there wasn't any ask to big for them and I will definitely come back here with my family.

It's a family run hotel so don't expect too much. Our room had good sized two beds.The room was pretty small but it was clean.Breakfast was good. It's near to the Harbour arm and other pubs and supermarkets , which is quite good. I enjoyed my overnight stay in this hotel.If you are not too fussy about the size of the room then this could be the right bet to spend a night or two. Family run hotel. The manager was lovely and super friendly. The view is so beautiful with the sea in front. I think it's a really good option considering location and price.

I've stayed here a few times now. A base for a night out in Folkestone before getting the chunnel to Europe the following day. Love Folkestone , the old town. And finally the local council seem to be getting more funding. The old station and railway is cool, with lots of bars etc. The Hotel is exactly what you'd expect. Old fashioned. Has that old time feeling. I have to book a hotel with secure parking. And at the rea is a small enclosed parking area. Its not secure, but out the way. The owner always promises me its safe.
